It’s All in the Physics
We don’t just look at the length and voltage and call it a day. We dig into the spectral distribution. See, a Sidel Matrix needs a very specific short-wave IR emission. It has to punch through the PET preform quickly without scorching the surface. We make sure our filaments hit the exact wattage and voltage of the original tubes so the power density stays the same every single centimeter. If the wattage is off by even 5%, your oven controllers are going to fight a losing battle trying to hit the set point.
Built to Actually Fit
These are true drop-in replacements. We use high-purity quartz glass because these things take a beating from rapid thermal cycling. The connectors are built to the same tolerances as the OEM gear, so you can just wire them up. No hacking, no modifying the lamp holders, no frustration. We also use a specific halogen gas fill to keep the filament from burning out—which is what usually happens with the cheap stuff. But a quick word of advice: high-density IR lamps put out an incredible amount of heat. If your cooling blowers are clogged or acting up, any lamp—no matter who made it—is going to die early. Keep those blowers clean.
